Currently, we are looking for qualified candidates (m/f/d) for an exciting position as a purchaser (m/f/d) at one of our esteemed clients in Lockport Heights. This role offers you the opportunity to develop and expand your skills in procurement. Responsibilities:

-Independent planning, execution, and optimization of procurement processes in the field of structural and turnkey construction

-Identification and selection of suppliers as well as negotiation of contract terms

-Ensuring timely procurement of building materials and services

-Continuous market observation and analysis of procurement markets

-Development of procurement strategies for cost optimization and quality assurance

-Collaboration with internal departments, construction managers, and project managers to coordinate needs and requirements

Qualifications:

-Completed commercial training or degree in a relevant field

-Several years of professional experience in procurement, preferably in the construction industry

-In-depth knowledge in the field of structural and turnkey construction

-Negotiation skills in German, good knowledge of English is an advantage

-Analytical thinking and strong negotiation skills
