    Description

    The Chief Marketing Officer is responsible for overseeing a company's financial operations and making decisions based on the company's financial stability including monitoring cash flow, meeting with the CEO to discuss the best practices for company finances and coming up with strategic plans to improve their company's overall financial health.

    Drive the company's financial planning
    Perform risk management by analyzing the organization's liabilities and investments
    Decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks
    Control and evaluate the organization's fundraising plans and capital structure
    Ensure cash flow is appropriate for the organization's operations
    Supervise all finance personnel (controllers, treasurers etc.)
    Set up and oversee the company's finance IT system
    Ensure compliance with the law and company's policies
    Manage team of financial controllers and financial analysts.
    Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or related field.
    ~Proven experience as CFO, finance officer or relevant role
    ~ In depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices
    ~ Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
    ~ Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
    ~ CFOs should be comfortable taking in data from diverse departments, from procurement and IT to marketing and logistics, to easily identify problems and find then implement solutions.

    Risk assessment skills:

    Companies need a CFO that identifies risk easily and finds ways to mitigate it before it reaches crisis levels.

    CFOs must communicate with diverse stakeholders, from those who work on the factory floor to other executives and investors, both verbally and in writing.

    Profit is the name of the game for a good CFO, so they're always looking for opportunities to increase it.
