    Job Description

    Regal Property Management seeks a full-time Multi-site Property Maintenance Technician to help maintain our properties located around Eau Claire, Altoona and Menomonie. The Multi-site Maintenance Technician will prepare units for new move-ins, complete work order request and perform preventive maintenance.

    Requirements – Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

    Mechanical skills:The maintenance technician is required to have mechanical skills to handle minor repairs and fixtures

    Knowledge of electricity:Knowing how electricity works will help the technician to diagnose electrical problems and carry out minor repairs

    General maintenance skills:With good maintenance skills, the technician will know how things work and how to keep the place organized, as well as how to tackle maintenance tasks in a fast and easy manner

    Verbal and written communication skills:The property maintenance technician needs to have strong communications skills for effective delivery of information to clients, colleagues, and management

    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

    Schedules, monitors, and performs preventative maintenance and rental turns

    Diagnosis problems and repairs in the area of carpentry, drywalling and exterior structural

    Ensures that work order requests are responded to promptly and professionally

    Ensures rentals have been turned in a timely and efficient manner, as well as determine if work has been completed properly

    Provides excellent customer service to prospective and current tenants and promotes a quality living experience for all residents

    Inspects rental and grounds to ensure safety and cleanliness, and alerts Maintenance to items that need to be repaired

    Assists supervisor with scheduling and communication with vendors and contractors

    Assists with purchasing maintenance supplies for the property while staying within the planned budget

    Communicates with supervisor regarding the overall maintenance function of the rental properties

    Ice/snow removal when needed

    Qualified candidates:

    • Must have mechanical and plumbing aptitude
    • Must be able to be trained on basic maintenance skills
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
    • Must have a valid driver's license and meet insurance requirements
    • Must be able to work a rotating on-call schedule
    • Have the ability to work independently
    • Have the ability to stand, lift and bend for up to 8 hours (with breaks) in hot/cold and wet environments
    • Have the ability to work in a team environment
