Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire is looking for Grounds Retail Associates for our upcoming Faire season

Are you looking for a fun and rewarding job in a medieval setting? Do you have a flair for costumes?

As a retail cashier, you will be responsible for greeting customers, ringing up their purchases, handling cash and credit transactions, and providing excellent service.

You will also be expected to dress in period-appropriate attire and speak in a friendly and courteous manner.

You will be part of a team of enthusiastic and dedicated staff who create a memorable experience for our guests.

Duties:

Answer questions and offer suggestions to patrons.
Aid patrons in purchasing merchandise.
Provide friendly and quality customer service.
Handling all cash register duties including opening and closing procedures, and operating a credit card machine. Our POS is Square.
Keep work area clean and orderly by restocking and maintaining inventory, sweeping booth and path in front, cleaning countertops, etc.
Handling minor customer complaints with understanding

Qualifications:_

Must be at least 18 years or older.
Must possess the ability to be customerservice oriented, friendly, and motivated to provide necessary information and assistance to our valued patrons.
Have steady transportation.
Friendly and able to work well with others.
Meet company grooming standards.

Working Conditions:_

Requires working mostly outdoors
Requires standing for long periods of time, lifting 20lbs or more, bending and walking
Must be able to work long shifts on weekends and holidays

This position will start August 17th and end on October 27th. Select weekends in May and June available.
