    Description

    Overview

    System Engineer 3

    Seeking a System Engineer with a strong background in Linux engineering, VMWare, administration and troubleshooting and the ability to work both as part of a team as well as independently (leadership & self-motivated).

    Security Clearance Requirements:

    This position requiresall candidates to beU.S. Citizensandpossess and active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Polygraph.

    Qualifications

    Required Education & Years of Experience

    • Twenty (20) years experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required and aBachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
      • Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

    Required Skills

    • Linux systems administration experience - must be comfortable with command line and troubleshooting.
    • Windows Server.
    • Virtualization - VMWare.
    • Puppet Experience, or able to learn quickly.
    • SSP Support - scanning, patching, keeping documentation up to date and support ATO activities.
    • RF Signals background.
    • CWIP Level I required at start

    Desired Skills

    • Linux systems (CentOS7 ) engineering/administration.
    • Strong VMWare background.
    • System integration/administration experience.
    • Ability to work independently/self-motivated.
    • Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, etc.)
    • RF Signals.
    • Puppet, Ansible scripting
