- Job Summary
- Under general direction of the Patient Registration Supervisor, performs registration process for all patients. Exhibits the F.I.R.S.T. values (Friendliness, Innovation, Respect, Service, and Trust).
- Working Conditions, Hazards and Physical Effort
- Small work station area with above average levels of noise. Must be able to multi-task and work with frequent interruptions. High stress level. Often exposed to unpleasant odors, sights and sounds. The task of this job does involve a medium risk of exposure to blood, body fluids/tissue, disease, infection, assault and physical strain. Must be able to move or position 25 lbs. independently and have the physical ability to push patients in wheelchairs. Will work a varied schedule including nights, weekends and holidays. Overtime may occur on a rare occasion.
