Looking for someone that is available 2-3 days per week and at least 1 weekend date per month_

The Model Home is a professional organizing company, servicing both residential and corporate clients. We are looking to hire a part-time professional organizer to help on a project basis.


Projects will include:
decluttering, organizing, and move management (including packing and unpacking).

We are looking for organizers who are available approximately 10-20 hours per week. We cannot guarantee a minimum number of hours. Ordering product, donation drop offs and other client related errands are part of the organizing business.


Specific Duties

  • Organize various rooms and spaces in residential homes, home offices, corporate, or other settings
  • Travel to client's location to do onsite organizing
  • May be asked to provide feedback on organizing supplies and solutions to meet the client's needs
  • Ideally you should be able to quickly assess complex clutter situations, untangle clutter, sort items into appropriate piles all without judgment
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to company culture
  • Has a passion for and is drawn to organizing
  • Has a high attention to detail
  • Has a friendly personality, can collaborate and communicate, yet is also able to work independently and take initiative
  • Is a proactive team player and able to take directions well
  • Considerate, punctual, selfmotivated, and follow directions well
  • A love of helping others and a positive "can do" attitude
  • Has strong customer service skills and work well with different types of personalities
  • Is comfortable working with clients of all socioeconomic levels
  • Possesses excellent time management skills
  • Can easily see how to utilize + maximize space where others do not
  • Exhibits a professional work ethic
  • Exhibits a professional demeanor and a calm composure when under pressure
  • Has great listening skills
  • Must be able to bend, reach, walk, climb stairs, lift to 30 pounds as necessary, & be physically active for up to 8 hours in the ordinary course of business
  • Must be able to pass a criminal background check
  • Must have reliable transportation with uptodate insurance and registration and be able to travel within a 30 mile radius of DC area to a job site

Job Types:
Part-time, Contract


Pay:
$ $28.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed
