    Description

    **Description:**

    Aerotek is looking for a Setup Machinist in the Old Lyme/Westbrook area for an immediate job opportunity. This company manufactures various pumps, valves, and flow control equipment, and this person will primarily be doing CNC setups on a Swiss Lathe.

    Tasks include:

    + Load and operate multiple machines

    + Adjust and re-set machine and fixture stops to maintain tolerance requirements

    + Sharpen tools as necessary

    + Working from part drawings, job layouts, and specifications to perform operations including drilling, milling, turning, grinding, facing, etc., where fixtures, machine stops and indexing devices are utilized

    **Skills & Qualifications:**

    + 3+ years of setup experience

    + Experience on Swiss Lathes

    + Must be able to proofread documents and read blueprints

    + Comfortable working both independently and in a group
