Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Clinical Laboratory Administrator.
The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing administrative tasks within the clinical laboratory setting, including managing medical records, coordinating schedules for phlebotomists, and providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the laboratory.
Responsibilities:

Medical Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient information, test results, and laboratory reports.

Scheduling Phlebotomists: Coordinate the schedules of phlebotomists to ensure adequate coverage for sample collection and testing.

Data Entry: Enter patient and test information into the laboratory information system accurately and in a timely manner.

Quality Assurance: Assist in maintaining quality control procedures within the laboratory to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accuracy of test results.

Inventory Management: Monitor and order supplies necessary for laboratory operations, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.

Collaboration: Work closely with laboratory staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to facilitate seamless patient care and efficient laboratory operations.

Training and Orientation: Assist in training new staff members and providing orientation on laboratory procedures and protocols.

Documentation: Prepare and maintain documentation related to laboratory procedures, protocols, and regulatory compliance.

Problem Solving: Identify and resolve administrative issues or concerns in a timely and effective manner to minimize disruptions to laboratory operations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, medical technology, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a clinical laboratory or healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory procedures is advantageous.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and quality assurance practices in clinical laboratories is a plus.

$ $26.00 per hour
