- Oversee all accounting operations including ledger maintenance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
- Ensure accuracy of financial statements in compliance with GAAP and regulatory guidelines.
- Develop internal control policies and procedures for financial activities.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Collaborate with management to develop budgets and perform financial analysis.
- Coordinate with external auditors and prepare for audits.
- Manage and mentor the accounting team, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years' experience in a financial management role, with at least 3 years in a banking or mortgage company.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory requirements in the financial sector.
- Proven ability to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a track record of managing teams effectively.
