    Job Title: Business Applications and HRIS Analyst

    Job Summary

    System Analyst will specialize in understanding the needs of the various operational departments and translate them into technical / system specifications. The ideal candidate is responsible for procedure assessment, workflow documentation, and ability to drive process design to integrate both system and business area functionality. The position's scope will work closely with internal and external customers.

    The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical, business, and people skills and have 3+ years of experience with analysis, design, build, validation, process improvement and some project management. The candidate should be detail-oriented, possess exceptional communication and inter-personal skills, organization skills and a spirit with a willingness to go above and beyond the call of duty in order to complete a project accurately and on time. The candidate must also be able to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment and abide to specific deadlines.

    Essential Job Functions
    • Gathers, evaluates and documents functional and non-functional requirements based on business goals
    • Produces workflow designs and facilitates meetings on new process adoption
    • Assists in identifying metrics and KPI's for various business areas
    • Comfortable with data analysis and visualization using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.
    • Takes personal ownership of issues, ensures a high degree of accuracy with all deliverables, demonstrates excellent service recovery, and communicates with customers in a consistent manner
    • Shows a thorough and creative approach to problem diagnosis and troubleshooting
    • Ensures effective integration of new or modified system/processes into the work environment
    • Engages in discussions related to the development of training content for users
    • Provides application assistance and consultation within assigned product area of expertise
    • Participates in configuration, functional testing and assist with user acceptance testing
    • Provides support to internal customers during system upgrade
    • Performs root cause analysis on recurring issues and communicate results with Management
    • Works closely with operational departments to maintain open line of communication and system optimization
    • Collaborates with vendors to identify, diagnose, and resolve recurring incidents
    • Oversees system updates, configuration changes, and installations of hardware and software, and diagnose technical problems to determine proper solutions
    • Basic knowledge and understanding of IT infrastructure, including networking, databases, EHR, ERP and HRIS systems, etc.
    • Performs some minor project management for assigned task and/or initiatives
    • Performs other assigned duties and special projects on an as needed basis
    Job Requirements

    Education:
    • B.S. in Business Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Information systems, or Health Informatics related field is required
    Experience:
    • 3+ years of experience with analysis, design, build, validation, process improvement and some project management
