Description

job summary:
A Lab Technician is needed for a company that manufactures, sells, and markets non-alcoholic beverage concentrates and syrups in the Apopka, FL area. This position involves ensuring the quality of confidential ingredients used in company products worldwide through performing various testing procedures, utilizing analytical methodology and laboratory instrumentation, while demonstrating technical expertise, leadership skills, attention to detail.

work hours: 8am to 4pm
education: Associates

responsibilities:

Perform basic and complex testing of ingredients.

Maintain a high level of throughput in testing procedures.

Utilize required chemical and analytical methodology according to quality guidelines.

Operate basic laboratory instrumentation (refractometers, titrators, spectrophotometers, etc.). Skills:

Demonstrated technical knowledge.

strong leadership skills.

Strategic thinking capabilities.

Innovative mindset.

Knowledge of HPLC is advantageous.

Utilize common software applications (Excel, Word, LIMS, etc.) to support functions.
