Your Responsibilities:

  • Development and design of customer-specific cylinder head components with innovative product solutions using Finite Element Method (FEM) calculations
  • Technical customer support in coordination with the sales department from inquiry, design to validation including presentation of results
  • Participation in cross-functional projects from planning to SOP
  • Life cycle calculation from concept to calculation result
  • Conducting reverse engineering processes
  • Creation and maintenance of technical documents such as best practices
  • Analysis, preparation and evaluation of results for problem solving

Your Profile:

  • Completed degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable education
  • Several years of professional experience in a similar position
  • Experience with 3D CAD software, ideally Creo Parametric and Simulation ABAQUS
  • Technical understanding, preferably in the metal processing industry
  • Initiative and cross-departmental working style
  • Intercultural competence and very good English skills in spoken and written form
  • Proficient in MS Office and Visual Basic desirable
  • Strong communication skills and structured working style
