JOB TYPE: Regular Full-time
DEPARTMENT: Food Services
ASSIGNMENT:
There is currently one (1) position available leading the preparation of food at a high school kitchen for school meal programs. Responsibilities include serving lunch, conducting inventory, completing necessary paperwork, and maintaining cleanliness in food service facilities.
JOB SUMMARY:
Employees in this position assist in food preparation, serving, and sales, while maintaining records and reports. They may also provide guidance to Food Service Assistants and student workers.
EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS:
ENVIRONMENT:
Employees work in central or school kitchens with varying temperatures, heavy machinery, and chemical agents. The role involves using computers, point-of-sale systems, and may require driving.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Includes lifting up to 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, using hands repetitively, and carrying food trays.
EXAMINATION:
May consist of a structured interview and technical project.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION:
Applicants must possess necessary certifications and may be subject to a probationary period and background checks.
VETERANS CREDIT:
