HRG is an employee-owned, nationally recognized consulting engineering, planning, and infrastructure solutions firm.We are actively seeking a Bridge Design Staff Professional I to join our dedicated team of professionals in Morgantown, WV. As a Bridge Design Staff Professional I, key responsibilities include:
•Designing and analyzing various transportation related structures (including steel and concrete bridges, retaining walls, culverts, and other miscellaneous structures) using various software packages
Requirements
•Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a Transportation/Structures emphasis (Master's degree a plus+)
•Engineer in Training certification or in pursuit of obtaining certification
•(o to 5) years of experience in bridge design and/or bridge inspection and load rating
•NBIS bridge inspection certification is a plus
•Knowledge of WVDOH and PENNDOT bridge design standards, manuals and procedures.
•Knowledge of AASHTO, AISC, PCI, ACI and other related design codes
•Working familiarity with Microstation, AutoCAD Civil 3D; Microsoft Office Suite and various structural software programs
•A team player possessing strong skills in communication, planning, and organization
•Has the flexibility for occasional travel to job sites, meetings, and other offices (Valid driver's license is required)
•Has the legal right to work in the U.S.
