    HRG is an employee-owned, nationally recognized consulting engineering, planning, and infrastructure solutions firm.

    We are actively seeking a Highway Staff Professional I to join our dedicated team of professionals in Morgantown, WV. Key responsibilities include:
    • Work with Project Manager(s), Project Engineer(s), and other Staff Professional(s) to successfully complete highway design and related projects
    • Plan development and presentation
    • Assisting with project design
    • Assisting in preparation of project deliverables, project manuals, and specifications
    Requirements

    • Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology

    • Transportation/Highway emphasis (preferred)

    • E.I.T. certification (a plus)

    • Course work and/or 0-2 years' experience working on projects that include:

    • Highway design

    • Intersection improvements

    • Environmental permitting

    • Stormwater design

    • Erosion and sedimentation control design

    • Other transportation / highway related experience

    • Previous internship with a consulting engineering firm (preferred)

    • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

    • Working familiarity of OpenRoads Designer/MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D (helpful)

    • Position requires travel to job sites, meetings, and HRG offices as necessary (Valid driver's license is required)

    • Has the legal right to work in the U.S.
