To strengthen our team, we are looking for a caretaker assistant (m/f/d) in full-time with 39 hours per week starting from in Bremen.

The employment contract will be concluded indefinitely.

In our DRK educational support services, we have a team of four caretakers and cleaning specialists. We are looking for a caretaker assistant (m/f/d) to support us with all caretaking tasks. The tasks are very diverse and cover multiple locations throughout Bremen. You will have a lot of contact with other DRK employees and the young people and families we support.

Your tasks will mainly consist of:

  • Repairs and renovations
  • Gardening work
  • Assistance with caretaking tasks
  • Support for the safety officer
  • Small moves
  • Painting and decorating of all kinds
  • Winter service

We expect from you:

  • Craftsmanship training/knowledge, preferably a completed apprenticeship as an electrician or carpenter
  • Professional experience
  • Driver's license (car)
  • Broad professional knowledge of the tasks
  • Reliability
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Good ability to assess urgency and effort
