We are currently seeking a Country Officer/Editor (m/f/d) in part-time (19.5 hours) for our Bonn location, with a fixed-term contract until June 14, 2024, to cover the Americas region.

Your responsibilities will include:

Monitoring and analyzing the economic development in the countries within your area of responsibility.
Reviewing and editing contributions and articles from our international colleagues.
Assisting in the conception and creation of publications.
Developing and coordinating regional reporting on Latin America, as well as creating your own reports.
Planning and conducting webinars on the region.
Managing social media accounts related to Latin America.
Responding to inquiries from companies, associations, press, and ministries.
Actively participating in industry and trade events, including giving presentations.
Establishing and maintaining contacts with cooperation partners.

Your profile:

A completed university degree (Master's, Diploma, or equivalent) preferably in economics, business administration, regional studies with a focus on economics, or related fields with a focus on economics.
Strong analytical and editorial skills, as well as experience in editing or writing articles and industry analyses.
Good knowledge of macroeconomics, German export promotion, and international economic development.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in fluent German, Spanish, and English.
A flexible and openminded mindset, with the ability to find creative solutions.
Proficiency in all common MS Office programs.
