Lamkin, TX is seeking a lawyer to represent them in a verbal trial for eviction (I left the property in January 2022) and alleged non-payment of rent increases.
The rent was increased without justification from 400€ to 505€, and I have been paying the increased amount for two years.
I have a document signed by the landlord stating the reason for the increase (rising prices in the area and demands from other tenants), as well as receipts showing payment from 5/12/2017 to 4/7/2020.
The rental contract from August 2014 also includes increases based on the IPC.However, after sending a notarized letter requesting a refund of the overpaid amount, the landlord did not respond and I stopped paying.
I resumed payments in March 2021 after recovering the full amount, but then on February 4, 2022, I voluntarily terminated the contract and vacated the property.
