SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rotating Equipment Specialist to join our team.

The Rotating Equipment Specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring the optimal performance, maintenance, and reliability of all rotating equipment within our operations.

This includes but is not limited to pumps, compressors, turbines, and related machinery.

The specialist will be responsible for identifying, diagnosing, and resolving issues, optimizing maintenance schedules, and implementing improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and safety of our equipment.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
May include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Provide technical support and guidance to operations and maintenance personnel for rotating equipment.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, turnaround planning, capital projects, and reliability engineering teams to plan and execute repairs, overhauls, and upgrades of rotating equipment.
  • Conduct routine inspections, diagnostics, and troubleshooting of rotating equipment to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain preventive maintenance plans and schedules for rotating equipment.
  • Perform predictive maintenance, vibration analysis, and other reliabilitycentered maintenance techniques.
  • Maintain accurate records, documentation, and reports related to equipment condition, maintenance activities, and spare parts inventory.
  • Develop, maintain, and perform quality control measures to ensure that rotating machinery and equipment meet the required quality standards during the various stages of manufacturing, installation, and maintenance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards while working on or near rotating equipment.
  • Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in rotating equipment maintenance and reliability.
  • Comply with all Company policies and procedures.
  • Fully supports Company goals of continuous improvement and operational excellence at strategic and tactical levels including reviewing area of responsibility for improvement opportunities to initiate projects or communicate ideas to management as well as active participation on project teams.
  • Perform duties in a manner that protects personal safety as well as the safety of others.
  • Promptly report Safety, Health or Environmental issues or incidents to management.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:


  • A current, valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card is required.
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a minimum of 10 years of handson experience with rotating equipment in the chemical manufacturing industry; preferably petrochemical, LNG, or petroleum refinery.
  • Indepth knowledge of industry maintenance best practices for rotating equipment.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Applications, SAP, AMS Machinery Manager, Bently Nevada
  • System 1, PROGNOST, are a plus
  • Exhibit individual initiative and constantly seek continuous improvement.
  • Effective Leadership skills including effective conflict resolution and driving change.
  • Familiarity with predictive maintenance technologies, such as lubrication analysis, vibration analysis, and thermography.
  • Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to make datadriven decisions.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Safetyconscious with knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.

The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.


WORK ENVIRONMENT
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as normally based in an office.

Some of the work may be required in the operating units which can require usage of required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.

May also result in exposure to outside elements and may require usage of stairs and elevators. Inside exposure includes but not limited to A/C 95% of the time. Outside exposure includes but not limited to weather, fumes, and dust 5% of the time. May be exposed to slippery, rocky, uneven surface of floor/ground.
