The
Ruwer Association of Municipalities is seeking to fill the position of
Forester (m/f/d) at the
earliest possible date.


Permanent, full-time position

The work will primarily take place in the municipal forests of the Ruwer Association of Municipalities, with occasional assignments in other forest districts of the Hochwald Forestry Office.

In addition to timber harvesting, the tasks include forest establishment and maintenance, forest protection work, maintenance of paths and traffic safety measures, as well as work in the field of nature conservation.

The team currently consists of 7 full-time employees, organized into two semi-autonomous groups.


We expect our foresters to have the ability to independently organize assigned tasks within the technical production of the Hochwald Forestry Office and coordinate work processes within the team.

The necessary physical fitness and mental flexibility are required. The willingness to use a private car for work purposes, with compensation, is also expected.

A completed training as a forester is desirable.

Motivated applicants with many years of professional experience and a completed vocational training in a different field are equally eligible to apply.

The willingness to train as a forester is required in this case.

The salary is determined according to the district collective agreement for municipal employees in forestry work in Rhineland-Palatinate.
