Position Summary:

The Director of Mission Integration will provide leadership, direction, and management of Corporate Responsibility Program and Community Outreach programs at St.

Joseph Academy.

Will develop and implement Community Outreach activities, including the Volunteer program that positions the SJA as resources and advocates for children, families, and seniors in the community.

Will also serve as the School Accreditation Manager and as a member of the Mission Integration Advisory Committee.

The Director of Corporate Compliance and Community Outreach will work collaboratively with the President/Administrator to provide leadership and programs that advance the mission, values and expectations, and goals of St.

Joseph Academy.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelors Degree in Liberal Arts, Marketing, Communications, or related Education field
  • Masters preferred but not required
  • 10+ years related experience with proven leadership experience
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills including presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal relations skills
  • Exhibits sound and accurate judgment with the ability to make timely decisions
  • Detail oriented; ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines
  • Must possess a valid Wisconsin driver's license and have reliable transportation.

Equipment Used:


  • Office equipment: phone systems, fax machine, photocopier
  • Facilities Services Equipment: Facilities Systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) janitorial, custodial, landscaping, snow removal, carpentry tools and equipment

Physical and Mental Requirements:
(Occasionally 1% - 33% of time; frequently 34% - 66% of time; continuously 67% - 100% of time): Occasionally - lifting up to 25 pounds, Rarely - lifting over 25 pounds, Occasionally - walking and standing, Continuously - sitting, Frequently - hand manipulation / dexterity when writing, using PC, and using other office equipment, occasionally - bending and reaching
Environmental Conditions:

  • Occasional exposure to infectious or communicable diseases inherent to care of ill children, occasional exposure to loud or unpleasant voices due to unpredictable behavior of children and seasonal exposure to high humidity due to temperature control of the facility.

Essential Job Functions/Duties

  • Extends excellent service to all families, children, staff, and internal and external customers.
  • Establishes appropriate relationships with families, children, staff, and the public which ensures a safe environment that protects the families and children rights
  • Models behaviors that foster the "Childcentered" philosophy
  • Be an active member of the Mission Integration Advisory Committee.
  • Oversee Community Outreach and Volunteer Programs for both ministries to ensure ongoing relationships with current volunteers and community partners/contacts while developing new relationships that enhance the vitality and quality of SJA programs.
  • Develop and implement a strategic plan to advance the Community Outreach and Volunteer programming ensuring that these activities/programs are operated in an efficient, professional, and financially sound manner the for SJA.
  • Plan, develop, and implement and effective recruitment, selection, orientation and training program for all volunteers
  • Identify and develop opportunities for intergenerational synergies between SJA.
  • Plan, develop, and implement strategies that proactively and responsibly develop strong partnerships within the early childhood and senior community at large.
  • Represent SJA with community partners, contacts and at community meetings.
  • Promote SJA to schools, parishes, and other community leaders and organizations.
  • Support fundraising efforts as a key representative of the sponsors.
  • Assist in new employee orientation as requested
  • Collaborate on the completion of reports, as required, and ensure documents are prepared and presented in a professional manner.
