Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our team. The Research Assistant will be responsible for supporting various research projects and assisting with laboratory activities. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in a dynamic and collaborative environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Conduct mammalian cell culture experiments, including media preparation, cell maintenance, and transfection.
  • Assist with the documentation review process for research studies, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Perform laboratory techniques such as Western blotting, microscopy, and tissue culture.
  • Collect and analyze data from clinical trials, maintaining accurate records and ensuring data integrity.
  • Assist in the development and optimization of assays and protocols.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot experimental issues and propose solutions.
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and supplies, ensuring proper functioning and availability.

Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Biology, Biochemistry, or related discipline).
  • Previous experience working in a research laboratory setting is preferred.
  • Familiarity with mammalian cell culture techniques and sterile laboratory practices.
  • Knowledge of molecular biology techniques such as Western blotting and microscopy.
  • Proficiency in data analysis software such as SAS or similar programs.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
