Classroom learning held in Staten Island at 25 Victory Blvd, 3rd Floor.
Internships are available in all 5 boroughs.
Participants without a high school diploma will take part in either the Pre-GED instruction or GED Preparation programs and will receive:
- A Clear Path to Dream Jobs in any Field for Youth seeking their GED Diplomas
- Classes 3 to 4 times a week at 25 Victory Blvd, 3rd Floor, Staten Island (a short walk from the ferry)
- Paid Internship at $16/hour for up to 250 hours for HSE Track
- Daily lunch and MetroCard
- Support to obtain needed services and benefits
- Academic instruction to prepare for the GED exam
- Work readiness training
- Job placement assistance
- Inperson, small group sessions with individualized attention
- Industry credential attainment
- College and career preparation
- Counseling and social /emotional support
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 17 to 24 years old
- Must live in any of the five boroughs of New York City
- Must be out of school and have no high school diploma
- Must be unemployed, or working less than 25 hours per week
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
