• Obtain patient medical history
• Measure visual acuity and pinhole tests, assess ocular motility, and confrontation visual fields, and
  refraction (strongly preferred if able to refract)
• Applanation Tonometry or willingness to learn or intraocular pressure checking using tonopen/iCare as well as willingness to learn
• Conduct visual field testing, Perform OCT, Fundus Photos and be willing to learn
• Maintain proficiency in procedure support and diagnostic coding
• Document medical visits and procedures as they are being performed by the physician accurately and thoroughly.
• Prepare exam rooms and assist during physician exam.
• Perform clerical tasks as needed by the physician including faxing, phone calls, referral letters.

$ $24.00 per hour

Education:

• High school or equivalent (preferred)

Experience:

Ophthalmology Experience: 1 year (required)
