Our Company:

Starforge Systems was built around the core idea of making products that set a new standard in computer gaming. We were founded by a team of industry veterans alongside a group of content creators in August 2022.

We set out to change the standard for customer service, build quality, and cable management in the industry, while still making sure our computers were affordable and accessible.


Job Duties:


  • Create custom themes and apps using the Shopify platform
  • Write errorfree HTML, CSS, and Javascript code
  • Optimize Shopify website performance and security
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to develop online store features
  • Report project updates to the senior developer
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned

Requirements:


Required Skills/Abilities:


  • Strong Javascript and CSS skills
  • Experience with version control (Git)
  • Strong collaborative skills
  • Extensive experience with responsive web development
  • Familiarity with Sass for CSS preprocessing
  • CSS without relying on a framework like Bootstrap, Tailwind, etc

Education and Experience:


  • 1+ year of Shopify development experience
  • Theme development
  • Shopify CLI
  • CMS solutions via Online Store 2.0, meta fields, etc
  • 3+ years of frontend development experience
  • Experience following accessibility guidelines
  • Experience making page speed optimizations
  • Extensive experience developing from designs in Figma / XD
  • Laravel experience preferred
  • Shopify app development experience preferred
  • Backend development experience preferred

Physical Demands:

  • Able to sit or stand for the duration of the workday
  • Able to use a keyboard and computer monitor for the workday
