Resident Manager (m/f/d): Immediate Start - Full and Part Time - Permanent - Job Number 74

Your Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming newly arrived residents, assigning accommodation and organizing their basic personal needs
  • Assisting with orientation in the local and social environment, organizing daily life
  • Introducing residents to house rules and fire safety regulations
  • Maintaining order and general safety in cooperation with security personnel
  • Distributing cleaning supplies, bedding, and personal hygiene and care items to residents
  • Supporting residents with attending appointments with authorities
  • Providing outreach support in close collaboration with the social services department
  • Acting as an interpreter and providing translation assistance for colleagues and residents
  • Updating notices and announcements

Your Qualifications:

  • Solutionoriented approach
  • Coordination skills for crossteam tasks
  • Teamoriented personality, dedicated and independent work style
  • Flexibility, commitment, and sense of responsibility
  • Organizational talent, assertiveness, empathy, aboveaverage commitment, and high motivation for working with people from different cultures
  • Strong communication skills, fluency in foreign languages, especially English, Arabic, Farsi, or Russian, desirable
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
  • Friendly and respectful interaction with people from different backgrounds
  • Identification with the principles of the German Red Cross
