Long Island based company seeks a FT associate to support its Customer Service and Operations. This exciting opportunity available is for a self-starter with ability to be creative to solve problems with limited supervision.

We are looking for a seasoned, hardworking, and smart individual with proven experience and a passion for working with our team to assist the company in creating strong relationships with customers and suppliers while maintaining the existing ones.


As part of the team, you will focus primarily on order placement and customer support, as well as other fulfilment functions.

It is heavy in data entry. It is also important to remain flexible to be able to assist with any special projects. You will be working directly with our Operations Manager and Customer Service Director.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Customer Service Responsibilities:_

  • Generate Sales Orders.
  • Assist with quotation process.
  • Handle inquiries from customers for new and existing orders; answer or escalate inquiries in an accurate, timely, and efficient manner.
  • Build relationship with individual customers.
  • Coordinate shipping schedule.

Operations Responsibilities:_

  • Provide administrative support, which includes maintaining files, logs, and related records as needed.
  • Performs other job functions as assigned.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly.
  • Great customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly, serviceoriented personality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to produce reports, assign tasks, accept instructions and handle customer & vendor contracts, among other tasks
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, selfmotivated, adaptable and have a positive attitude.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and Excel is a must.
  • Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • QuickBooks experience (preferred)

Pay:
$ $20.00 per hour
