Description

Modern Pain Consultants seeks a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional patient care within our Interventional Pain Management Practice. As a Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant specializing in pain management, you will play a vital role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients suffering from chronic pain conditions. This is an excellent opportunity to significantly impact our patients' lives and work alongside a collaborative and dedicated healthcare team.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and pain evaluations.

Develop and implement patient-specific treatment plans for pain management, including interventional procedures, medication management, and other therapeutic modalities.

Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, such as trigger point injections, nerve blocks, joint injections, and epidural steroid injections.

Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes and develop pain management strategies.

Educate patients and their families on pain management: techniques, medication usage, and self-care strategies.

Document patient encounters, procedures performed, and treatment plans promptly and accurately.

Maintain high professionalism, adhering to ethical standards and complying with all regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in IL

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team.

Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational and time management skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing patient needs.
