- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients based on their specific needs
- Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary, following established protocols and guidelines
- Administer injections as required
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
- Provide patient education on disease prevention, health promotion, and management of chronic conditions
- Document all patient encounters accurately and timely using electronic medical record systems
- Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice
- Experience working in an outpatient or similar healthcare setting is preferred
- Proficiency in psychopharmacology and knowledge of ICD10 coding
- Experience administering injections
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and work independently
