- Be proficient to expert in computer repair and computer technologies
- A+ certified or willing to obtain certification
- Understanding of the certification processing and testing procedures for IT industry certifications.
- Assume responsibility for teaching assignments as designated by the department chairperson and approved by the dean.
- Assume responsibility for maintaining all required College records including attendance and grade reports, roll books, etc.
- Compile bibliographies of specialized materials or outside reading assignments as applicable.
- Make recommendations to Department Chair for supplies, equipment, and equipment repairs.
- Construct, administer, and grade examinations.
- Assume responsibility for being familiar with and adhering to all policies of the College.

Position Summary InformationJob Description Summary The Part-time Instructor, Information Technology (IT) – Technical Support & Services (formerly Part-time Instructor, Computer Information Technology – Davis iTEC Center) will teach curriculum courses to undergraduate students.
Minimum Qualifications 1. Master's Degree or higher with at least 18 graduate hours in a Computer related discipline.
**Note: Degrees and hours must be from a college accredited by a US Dept of Education accepted accrediting agency such as SACSCOC.
2. Successful teaching experience3. Being proficient to expert in Microsoft Office products
4.Understanding of Windows operating system environments
5.Understand and be committed to the unique nature & role of the college Preferred Qualifications Course & Curriculum Development Experience
