    ROLE SUMMARY

    Key Objectives and Expectations from this Role:

    To strategically source indirect materials and services for Reynolds American, leading a team of Procurement Professionals to deliver a competitive edge for the company.

    2, (+1 Indirect = 3 reports in total)

    Core Relationships

    Internal

    - Key stakeholders within Reynolds American at all levels, the Reynolds American Procurement organization, and Global BAT.

    • IT/DBS US Leadership team
    • Global IT/DBS Team members
    • Local and global Finance
    • Global Procurement team
    • Local and Global LEX team
    • GBS (Cost Rica and Malaysia)

    External

    - Vendors/Suppliers. Procurement Associations. CDP

    Geographic Scope

    Local – North Carolina, USA

    Travel Required

    Up to 10%

    ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Work with senior management and stakeholders to drive business initiatives.
    • Manage £100mn in category spend.
    • Lead the delivery of Procurement targets.
    • Collaborate with Global Procurement teams.
    • Lead procurement strategies for IT/DBS.
    • Participate in negotiations with suppliers.
    • Provide leadership to the team.
    • Implement stakeholder engagement strategies.
    • Support change management initiatives.

    EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

    Experience Required

    • Experience in project management and leading cross-functional teams.
    • Proven experience in information and digital technology procurement.
    • Preferably, experience in a highly regulated environment.

    Technical/Functional/Leadership Skills Required

    • Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.
    • Ability to make timely decisions in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent managerial and negotiation skills.
    • Working knowledge of finance and accounting.
    • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and contractual terms.
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
    • Proven negotiation abilities.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office suite.
    • Education/Qualifications/Certifications Required
    • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or related field with 10+ years of experience Or Post Graduate Degree with 7+ years relevant work experience.
