    Come be a part of the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Post Production Team, which is one of the most advanced missile defense systems in the world and is ready to take on the challenge.

    As a Logistics Engineer, supporting THAAD Post Production, you will be responsible for planning, development, implementation, and management of effective and affordable weapons, materiel, or information systems product support strategies.

    Provide analyses and spares recommendations for existing and future THAAD Batteries.

    As a Logistics Engineer, supporting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) Post Production, this position will serve as the Primary Operator/Maintainer of the KSA THAAD Software Operator Trainer (TSOT) training device and KSA training classrooms.

    Serve as the TSOT and Classroom System Administrator, Operator and Maintainer. Additionally, serve as an Instructor for the TSOT and other KSA training courses as needed. Ensure THAAD TSOT and classrooms remain at a high state of operational readiness.

    Perform regular hardware and software maintenance and inventories, and conduct/assist in Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) software upgrades and hardware refurbishment.

    Track, analyze, collect, and document training data and systems information.

    Basic Qualifications


    • THAAD or Air and Missile Defense Experience in operations and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures.
    • Experience with and understanding of Link-16 operations.
    • Active Secret Clearance.
    • Knowledge and experience working with all MS Office software.
    • Excellent communication skills and experience working with US Army military and government personnel at all levels.

    Desired skills


    • Experience on the THAAD system.
    • Experience and Knowledge of US Air and Missile Defense operations.
    • Ability to quickly master new technical and training applications.
    • Ability to become Security+ Certified.
    • Network/Systems experience in design, installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting of LAN/WAN infrastructure and security using Cisco routers/Switches, Juniper Firewall.
    • Experience on Windows XP, Windows NT, Novell Netware and Sun Solaris.
    • Worked in various software developments, Defense industry, Manufacturing and/or Engineering services industry.
    • Experience working in a UNIX/LINUX environment and be familiar with networking technologies, i.e. Routers and Switches.
    • Knowledge of COMSEC is a plus.

    Work Schedule Information

    Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.

    These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.


    Colorado Pay Statement

    Pay Rate:


    The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, or Washington is $86,700 - $166,300 .

    Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

    (Washington state applicants only)

    Non-represented full-time employees:

    accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.

    Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.

    PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

    This position is incentive plan eligible.


    Premium Pay Statement

    Pay Rate:


    The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California and New York is $99,800 - $187,900.
