Requirements:

Experience in QA testing processes.
7+ years of practical experience (with a college degree). Computer science background. Data science is a plus. 5+ years of practical experience (when Masters Degree/PH.D.).
Background in computer science (Data science is a plus).
Knowledge of Python.
Knowledge of data processing packages like NumPy, Pandas, etc.
Understanding visualization packages like Matplotlib, Plotly, etc.
Understanding of SQL querying.
Familiarity with Git, AWS, and Azure.
Familiarity with PowerPoint, office tools, and Azure DevOps.
Excellent verbal and written communication, problemsolving, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage one's time.
Basic mentoring skills are necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, requirements gathering, and functional specification authoring to development and testing/delivery.
Ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve problems.

Responsibilities:

Work as part of a project team to write highquality, efficient code, coordinate software development, and determine the project's scope and limitations.
Review project requests describing user needs to estimate time and requirements to accomplish the project.
Develop new features for existing simulation software.
Extract meaningful answers from complicated outputs.

Will be a plus:

Experience with discreteevent simulation (e.g., SimPy).
Communication skills, the ability to work independently, and teamwork/collaboration.
