Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to join our team.

In this role, you will assist in overseeing and supervising guest arrivals and departures, ensuring exceptional service delivery at all times.

You will work closely with the Front Office Manager to maintain departmental policies, service procedures, and standards while fostering positive relationships with all hotel departments.

Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring daily revenues and expenses, evaluating team performance, and ensuring that necessary reports and forms are completed accurately and on time.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist in overseeing and supervising guest arrivals and departures, ensuring a seamless and pleasant experience for all guests.
  • Respond promptly, professionally, and courteously to guests' needs and concerns, striving to exceed their expectations.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to provide accurate information to guests.
  • Foster a positive and effective working relationship with all departments within the hotel to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure compliance with departmental policies, service procedures, and standards, implementing necessary corrective actions as needed.
  • Monitor and control daily revenues and expenses, ensuring adherence to procedures and implementing proper controls.
  • Evaluate team performance, provide constructive feedback, and take appropriate corrective action to maintain high standards of service.
  • Complete all necessary reports and forms accurately and on time to facilitate smooth operations.

Additional Functions:


  • Collaborate with the Front Office Manager to develop and implement strategies for improving guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Assist in the training and development of front office staff, ensuring consistency in service delivery and adherence to standards.
  • Coordinate with other departments for special guest requests, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolution.
  • Conduct regular inspections of front office areas to ensure cleanliness, organization, and adherence to brand standards.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and guest feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement best practices.
  • Act as a point of contact for escalated guest concerns or complaints, resolving issues promptly and effectively to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Assist in the preparation of departmental budgets and forecasts, monitoring expenses and revenue performance against targets.

Qualifications:


  • 12 years of previous Front Office experience in a lifestyle hospitality environment required
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, with attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests and colleagues at all levels
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing priorities in a fastpaced environment
  • Flexible schedule, willing and able to work shift duties that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays
