ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Ensuresprogram complies with JCAHO, HCFA, state, and patient rights regulatorystandards.2. Ensuresinfection control, safety, and risk management policies are consistentlyimplemented at the facility.3. Coordinates,maintains, and evaluates the effectiveness of treatment planning.4. Processesunusual occurrence reports, conducts investigations, and corrective plans asneeded.5. Coordinatesperformance improvement activities and is responsible for the effectiveness ofthe program quality management activities.6. Monitorsmedical records for appropriate documentation of care and effectiveness of thetreatment plan.7. Evaluatesthe appropropriateness of all medical/psychiatric emergency interventionsperformed in the program.8. Monitorsand provides daily feedback as required related to core measures datacollection (HBIPS).
