Opportunity
This position's scope of responsibility will encompass all areas of material management within WFO (Wisconsin Faucet Operations). The focus of this position will be full support of Production Scheduling, Inventory Control, and Material Replenishment.


Specific Responsibilities

  • Oversee scheduling, storage, control and distribution of materials to meet customer requirements.
  • Maintain established goals and objectives to monitor WFO delivery for all produced finished goods and components.
  • Monitor inventory levels to avoid stock shortages or excess.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Purchasing and NAF Supply Chain to manage WFO product changes to ensure materials are available for production.
  • Perform assignments of a complicated nature in support of strategic initiatives to support health of materials to ensure material needs are met throughout WFO.
  • Support and drive continuous improvement and lean supply chain initiatives.
  • Possess a continuous improvement mindset and promote culture with a sense of urgency/excellence.
  • Support tactical product transition projects to ensure mínimal impact on daily production.
  • Work in conjunction with purchasing continuous improvement action items to achieve cost savings.

Skills/Requirements

  • Position requires minimum of Associates degree with 10 years experience or a B.S. degree with 58 years experience in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field of experience.
  • Knowledge and experience with lean manufacturing and project management techniques.
  • Capable of, and experienced in, working with different functional areas (operations, purchasing, logistics, finance, engineering, sales and customer service) and companies throughout the supply chain (customers, vendors, 3PLs, Joint Ventures and outsourcing suppliers).
  • Exceptional Excel, Microsoft office, SAP (PRD), and analytical skills required.
  • Must be capable of defining, analyzing, and resolving complicated problems.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization.
