Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Sourcing and Procurement Specialist to join our team.
As a Sourcing and Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process and ensuring the timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.
This is a critical role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet business objectives
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and service levels
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide guidance on sourcing options
- Manage supplier relationships, including performance monitoring and issue resolution
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings or process improvements
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Utilize procurement management systems to track and report on sourcing activities
Responsibilities:
- Identify and engage with potential new suppliers to broaden our network and decrease operational costs.
- Negotiate pricing and terms with both new and existing suppliers to ensure favorable conditions for our company.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and administrative processes to set up new vendors in our system.
- Maintain a steady flow of raw materials and services to meet production needs without interruption.
- Work closely with the production and finance departments to align sourcing strategies with business goals.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to adjust sourcing strategies as needed.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sourcing and procurement. Experience in sourcing for food and beverage companies is preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing costeffective agreements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining strong relationships with business partners and suppliers.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Detailoriented with strong organizational skills.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- 1+ year of experience in a sourcing or procurement role preferred but not required
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Pay:
$40, $60,000.00 per year
Ability to Commute:
- Warminster, PA preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
- Warminster, PA 18974: Relocate before starting work (preferred)
