Scheduling Coordinator/ Caregiver Support

Job Summary:

The Scheduling Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of client/Caregiver scheduling and other administrative activities.

This position is a key member of the scheduling team and will be responsible for all activities relating to patient scheduling.

This position will also be responsible for the maintenance of the electronic medical record system and assist with data entry.

HIPPA knowledge required. This position will also be required to perform Caregiver duties when we cannot find coverage for shifts.
Dependability, Reliability, Drivers License and car required.

Must understand small business principles.

Must care about the services we offer our clients within the In-Home Care industry.

Essential Responsibilities:

.Build a good working relationship with all employees.

  • Assist with data entry of patient records.
  • Maintain the electronic medical record system.
  • Maintain and update patient schedules, including but not limited to, insurance, copays, and deductibles.
  • Assist with patient scheduling in accordance with Right At Home policies and procedures.
  • Ensure that all patients are contacted by telephone in a timely manner.
  • Ensure that all patients are scheduled on a schedule within 24 hours of their appointment time.
  • Answer incoming calls in a professional manner.
  • Ensure that all billing department needs are met in accordance with policies and procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and other regulatory requirements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; College Degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in medical billing, collections, or other medical billing and or collection experience preferred.
    Wellsky/ClearCare software experience desired.

Dependable/reliable, self-motivated, compassionate, and desires to make a real difference in the lives of others.
Must have good verbal and written communication and organizational skills.


Caregiving experience CBRF or CNA desired. Will be responsible to help cover unfilled caregiver shifts when necessary.

Pay:
$ $20.00 per hour

Experience:


  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
  • Medical terminology: 1 year (preferred)
  • Computer skills: 1 year (preferred)
