We are looking for a Social Worker (m/f/d) for our psychosocial cancer counseling center in the Black Forest-Baar-Heuberg region.

The Psychosocial Cancer Counseling Center in the Black Forest-Baar-Heuberg region provides support and guidance to individuals with cancer and their families in the districts of Black Forest-Baar-Heuberg, as well as in the branches of Rottweil and Tuttlingen.

The center is operated by the Black Forest-Baar Hospital in cooperation with the Black Forest-Baar Health Network and the Mit Krebs Leben e.

Requirements:

Completed degree in Social Work or Social Pedagogy (Diploma/Master)
Comprehensive knowledge of social law
Completed counseling training is desirable
Professional experience, ideally in working with (oncologically) ill individuals or in fields that require a high level of empathy
Additional qualification in psychooncology (according to DKG criteria) or willingness to acquire it

Responsibilities:

Psychosocial counseling and support for adult individuals with cancer and their families in Villingen and branch locations through individual, couple, and family sessions
Organization and implementation of group activities and lectures
Cooperation, networking, and public relations
Documentation, organization, and administration
