    Jr. Controls Engineer
    Dearborn, MI (Onsite)
    $70,000+
    Full-Time (40 hours/week)

    This Fortune 500 automotive giant is making a huge push to modernize their manufacturing technology and processes, and they're seeking early-in-career Electrical Engineers to help make it happen.

    As an entry-level Controls Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on the plant floor, getting hands-on with the software & hardware of a wide variety of electrical components, ranging from PLC's to hydraulics and everything in between

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
    In the last semester of or having earned a completed bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or a similar field.
    Familiarity with or exposure to PLC's (Siemens, etc)
    Interest in being hands-on in a plant environment


    BONUS:
    Experience in a manufacturing environment, understanding of lateral logic, experience with HMI software


    RESPONSIBILITIES
    Troubleshoot issues with electrical components of the machinery (PLC's, hydraulics, HMI software, etc)
    Collaborate with other teams and roles across the plant floor to create resolutions and implement them.
    Interface with vendors/suppliers to identify equipment needs and feasibility
    Collect/input data and perform root cause analysis
