We are currently seeking a friendly and efficient Front Desk Receptionist to join our busy Doctor's office.As our patients' first point of contact, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth flow of operations.

Responsibilities:
- Greet patients warmly and ensure a positive and comfortable experience from arrival to departure.
- Answer incoming calls and address inquiries or direct them to the appropriate staff member.
- Schedule appointments accurately, taking into consideration various factors such as availability, urgency, and physician preferences.
- Verify and update patient information, including personal and insurance details.
- Collect copays, process payments, and maintain financial records.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and waiting room.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely patient flow and minimize wait times.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle patient inquiries with empathy and professionalism.
- Proficiency in computer systems, including electronic medical records (EMR) and scheduling software.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus.
