The Inventory Cycle Counter performs cycle counts of available inventory in all location types.


_ ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES - Other Duties May Be Assigned_

  • Performs accurate cycle counts of assigned locations.
  • Performs daily process audits.
  • Performs shorts procedure as needed.
  • Identifies offsets to variances in historical cycle count data for assigned locations.
  • Assist in seasonal audits of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).

_SCOPE_

  • Works under general supervision. Primary job functions require exercising some independent judgment.
  • Frequent interaction with warehouse management and staff.

  • Strong understanding of the job functions and possesses the knowledge and skills required to perform the required job functions.

  • Required to hold a current operates license for forklifts and order pickers.
  • Solid computer skills with intermediate MS Excel, MS Word, and AS400 Platform.

_EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE_

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • 12 years of distribution/warehouse environment experience.
  • Previous experience in Inventory Control, or Auditing, and forklift experience preferred.

_WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS_

  • Warehouse environment with seasonal temperature variations.
  • Physical activity includes regular standing, reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, crouching and climbing stairs and ladders. Extensive walking and working on elevated platforms.
  • Ability to lift and/or maneuver up to 50 lbs.
