The CJD offers orientation and future opportunities to 155,000 young and adult people every year. They are supported, accompanied and trained by over 10,500 full-time and many voluntary employees at more than 350 locations.


The CJD Vocational Training Center Gera accompanies and supports young people in finding and learning a profession according to their personal talents and interests.

The Psychological Department of the CJD VTC Gera supports adolescents and young adults in the areas of training and career orientation in psychological terms.


Your new area of responsibility:


  • Performance and personality diagnostics for adolescents and young adults
  • Individual psychological counseling and support for rehabilitation participants in individual and group work
  • Education about mental illnesses and personality disorders
  • Assistance and mediation of techniques for coping with stress, illness and pain
  • Case and specialist consultations in a multiprofessional team (education and counseling on mental disorders such as depressive episodes, anxiety disorders, addiction syndromes, somatoform disorders, etc.)
  • Participation in crisis interventions and psychological conflict resolution
  • Group work on conflict, aggression and stress management
  • Documentation of therapy progress and individual case discussions

Your profile:


  • Completed university degree in psychology (master's, diploma)
  • Basic knowledge of conversation and behavioral therapy (clientcentered conversation)
  • Ability for analysis and reflection
  • First experiences in inpatient psychiatry desirable
  • High level of empathy and sense of responsibility
  • Independence, teamwork skills
