Description

The Controls Engineer provides the leadership necessary to maintain the readiness of packaging and PLC equipment used in the production process.

As well as influence the quality and safety efforts in the plant.

The position helps to develop packaging technicians to maintain equipment and provide the technical leadership necessary to move the company forward to meet its goals.

Essential Job Functions:
Maintain operational readiness of packaging and PLC equipment in the plantSupervise Packaging Technicians, efforts to maintain equipmentResolve production packaging maintenance issuesSupport safety initiatives in the plantEnsure good quality of the productManage packaging equipment projectsPerform other duties as assignedLead All PLC efforts in the PlantMake any necessary PLC programming changesManage electronic Controls projectsWorking within cold and wet environment

Position Experience Qualifications:
Electronic, Mechanical and PLC Troubleshooting Experience10 years experiences in mechanical, electrical systems troubleshooting and maintenance and in supervising maintenance personnelPosition Education &

Training Preferred:
BSME, or BSEE, BSEET, BSIE, Undergraduate degree in technical electronic field
