Title:
Test Engineer - Software QA

Duration:
Direct Hire/Perm Placement

The ideal candidate will have a passion for Quality and can take on challenge to find every kind of defect across a multi-tiered application with focus in all the areas below:

Create, Maintain, and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases for web, mobile and API testing
Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
Maneuver various network and cloud configurations.
Build and monitor automated tests and notify engineering teams of failed test.
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of experience in Software Development or Quality Assurance.
2+ years of experience in Agile/Scrum product development methodology and lifecycle.

Experience with a variety of different testing techniques such as black box testing, Whitebox testing, performance testing, regression testing, automated testing, UX Testing, Test Driven Development Strategies.

Experience working with software QA tools like JMeter, Postman, SoapUI, Selenium, Tosca, SoapUI, Mocha, Cucumber etc.
Basic knowledge of iOS and Android for QA evaluation of mobile applications.
Experience with in-sprint automation is an added advantage
