Description

Summary:

Works with Production Support and Engineering in setup and operation of swiss equipment and maintenance of machining processes in a production environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Maintains CNC programs, setup sheet and updates inspection plans.
Setup and run production equipment as needed to meet customer demand.
Ensures that product meets customer quality requirements
Ensures integrity of inspection results
Participates in continuous improvement and lean material flow opportunities and initiatives within department.
Assist with training of new team members and operators.
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
Adhere to company safety requirements.
Assure that assigned activities are performed in accordance with Arch Quality System procedures.

Education and Experience:

High School diploma or GED required
2 years related experience in department processes

Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong analytical skills and the ability to execute manufacturing plan effectively.
CNC machine process technology skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Strong math skills.
Computer skills and proficiency with MS Office and the internet.
