    Starting in February 2024, we will launch the Registered Nurse Residency Program.

    Our 12-month program is a complete transition-to-practice initiative that guides you from being a student to a professional nurse with the help of education, mentorship, and peer support.

    The Nurse Residency Program equips new graduate nurses with the necessary knowledge, skills, and behaviors to enhance quality and safety at the point of care. It involves precepted orientation led by dedicated preceptors, along with various blended learning experiences.

    Key responsibilities for nurse residents include:
    • Developing the critical clinical judgment needed to quickly identify changes in a patient's condition and the critical nature of a clinical scenario
    • Cultivating exceptional communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and provide assistance to patients
    • Engaging in cohort activities tailored to foster peer and professional relationships and solidify the commitment to a nursing career
    • Participating in didactic content specifically customized for new graduates by professional nursing organizations

      Multiple openings are available in different specialties such as Acute Care, Cardiovascular/Progressive Care, Transplant, Critical Care, Women's Services, Emergency Department, Surgical Services, and more.

      RESPONSIBILITIES: The Staff Nurse is responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients of all ages, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. This role operates within the organization's policies and procedures, showing professional development and accountability. The staff nurse maintains practice standards and coordinates patient care activities among assigned staff for top-notch nursing services.

      Required Skills and Qualifications: Leadership Abilities, Effective Communication Proficiency, Proactive Attitude, Capacity for Independent Decision-making, Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments

      Job Requirements:

      MINIMUM EDUCATION: Completion of a nursing program

      MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Recent graduates from a nursing program are welcome

      LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Georgia, along with BLS certification

      Additional Preferences:

      Bachelor's degree is advantageous

      Advanced certification in a specialized field is a plus
