- Build strong customer relationships through regular and proactive communication through various media and collaborative tools.
- Respond timely and appropriately to questions and concerns from clients and their intermediaries.
- Introduce and promote new Coface offerings through consistent client interaction and onsite visits.
- Ensure and deliver satisfactory client retention and grow the current business.
- Act as the central point of contact for the client and/or its intermediaries.
- Structure renewal offers/business extension proposals for assigned portfolio of clients.
- Steer worldwide program implementation for newly acquired business from sales team.
- Monitor portfolio profitability and propose proper actions to maximize profitability.
- Ensure prudent commercial structure of Credit Insurance Business, adhering to Group Standards
- Adhere to compliance standards set by Coface and external regulators.
- 4-year College Degree required/MBA preferred
- Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Banking or equivalent.
- Minimum three years of client relationship management within credit insurance or financial institution; Previous experience in global business will be a plus.
- In depth familiarity and knowledge of various contract structures in order to know how best to negotiate between price and risk
- Credit Risk Management and Project Management a plus
- Drive towards results, customer oriented, and forward thinking.
- Collaborate well with internal stakeholders and supportive of change.
- Work towards win-win outcomes and achieve value added results during negotiations.

Objectives
The Account Manager is responsible for the retention and development of ongoing relationships between Coface and its key clients, as well as their intermediaries in order to maximize revenue and retention of profitable clients in the portfolio. He or She will also play a key role in enhancing the customer experience of Coface products by servicing and cross selling services and products to existing clients. He or She should have a clear understanding of the current economic climate and how it affects the market.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across multiple US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $90,000.00 in our lowest geographic market up to $115,000.00 in our highest market. Base pay is based on multiple factors including market location and may vary depending on job related knowledge, skill set, and experience.
