We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Traffic Engineer to join our team.
As a Traffic Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing traffic control systems to ensure the safe and efficient flow of traffic on roads and highways.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement traffic control systems to ensure the safe and efficient flow of traffic on roads and highways
Conduct traffic studies and analyze data to identify traffic patterns and potential safety hazards
Develop and implement traffic management plans to improve traffic flow and reduce congestion
Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure that traffic control systems are integrated with other transportation systems
Prepare technical reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders
Stay up-to-date with the latest traffic engineering technologies and trends
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain
Minimum of 5 years of experience in traffic engineering
Strong knowledge of traffic engineering principles and practices
Proficiency in traffic engineering software such as Synchro, VISSIM, and AutoCAD
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
